Pendry Hotels & Resorts is expanding its luxury footprint with the announcement of Pendry Barbados, the brand’s first-ever Caribbean property, scheduled to open by the end of 2026.

Located along Barbados’ celebrated “Platinum Coast” in St. Peter, the highly anticipated development is transforming the former Port Ferdinand residential resort into a world-class oceanfront retreat. The project, valued in the multi-million-dollar range, will feature approximately 80 guest rooms and suites, along with 46 private Pendry Residences, blending boutique hospitality with luxury living.

Pendry Barbados is designed to reimagine the island’s northwestern corner as a premier destination for discerning travelers. Unlike its predecessor, the property will now offer direct beachfront access, a significant enhancement for Barbados’ luxury hotel offering.

Infrastructure and Progress

The development has been supported at the governmental level since its first mention in Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley’s 2023 Budget Speech. As part of the project, roadway adjustments near Port Ferdinand were completed by C.O. Williams Construction Ltd., ensuring improved access to the property. Final resurfacing is expected ahead of the grand opening.
