Unseasoned travlers and vacation veterans: Delta Air Lines is expanding flights this winter to popular sunny spots. This winter magic in the sky includes direct flights for smooth, hassle-free journeys. From beaches to vibrant locales, your wintry wanderlust adventure awaits.
Delta Air Lines (DAL) is expanding its winter schedule with a record number of routes to Latin America and the Caribbean. New nonstop flights from Atlanta to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVD) and Grenada (GND) will make these beautiful islands more accessible to travelers. Don't miss your chance to explore the charm of the Caribbean!
With over 52 nonstop routes in the region, Delta is meeting the growing demand for tropical leisure travel. The new routes will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which offer modern amenities for enhanced passenger comfort.
Delta is also increasing flight options from cities such as Austin, Nashville, and Raleigh-Durham to popular destinations like Cancun and San Juan.
Notably, Boston will have daily nonstop flights to St. Thomas, providing a passport-free holiday escape to the U.S. Virgin Islands. To simplify vacation planning, Delta is offering enhanced vacation packages through Delta Vacations, which include bundled flights, hotels, and activities.
While this expansion enhances Delta’s position in the winter travel market and attracts more vacationers, new U.S. tariff policies are negatively impacting the company by increasing operational costs and creating uncertainty, leading to a 21.2% year-over-year decline in DAL stock, compared to an 11.4% decline in the airline industry.
